Wednesday June 19, 2013. Our theme for our 9th Annual conference is Putting the “I” in your business Inspiration ~ Information ~ Innovation.
The conference will be held at the Old Bermuda Inn.
The Business Outreach Center of Staten Island serves small businesses and residents throughout Staten Island, NY. We are part of the Business Outreach Center Network (BOC) which serves over 3,000 clients throughout New York City.
WBCLDC is the Staten Island Partner of the Business Outreach Center Network’s (BOC) Women’s Business Center (WBC). Through the BOC WBC, we offer one-on-one counseling, long-term training and short-term seminars to small businesses, with special emphasis on women entrepreneurs. The WBC is sponsored by the US Small Business Administration (SBA). The Business Outreach Center of S.I. is also funded by private donations and special events, including the Annual 21st Century Business Woman Conference.
This U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) Cooperative Agreement OWBO-2004-021 is partially funded by the SBA. SBA’s funding is not an endorsement of any products, opinions, or services. All SBA funded programs are extended to the public on a nondiscriminatory basis. The Business Outreach Center Women’s Business Center is also partially funded by the U.S. Small Business Administration’s Office of Women’s Business Ownership (OWBO). The Office of Women’s Business Ownership is established to help women become full partners in economic development through small business ownership.

21st Century Business Woman Conference: Founded in 2005 by Business Development Director, Joann Regan and Past Executive Director Susan Meeker, this program promotes business development and entrepreneurship among women and small businesses. Joann Regan, served the Staten Island community for 16 years in her role as Deputy Director and Business Development Director. Many of the founding committee members continue to dedicate their services and continue the legacy of Joann Regan, and the theme of ‘women helping women’.
